He stands up, puts the journal under his arm and looks around...wherever he's landed.]

He reaches out and takes a couple steps to see if he's just walled in in a meat locker. Trying to ascertain the size of wherever he's landed, at least.]

[It looks like a passageway-- a little narrow, but there's ample room for both him and his hair.]

[The floor is iced over, but it's difficult to see in the dark]

He takes in a breath -- the passageway may lead him out, but it may also lead him into trouble. First, he opens the journal and looks through it. If he can read it in this darkness, he will.]

[He can barely make out anything, but what he can make out looks like mundane notes about taking care of flowers. Pretty odd for a journal.]

He ditches the journal on the floor and takes his mace in both hands, then proceeds.]

[I's a very very very long corridor. His legs are beginning to feel stiff.]

[He has to stop for a second. He flattens against the wall. It so cold, he can feel his body starting to go numb from the bottom up. He can't use his pendant to warm himself up either.

Still. He has nowhere to go but forward. So after a second to catch his breath, that's where he goes.]
