[ Missions that involve violence are harder to come by nowadays, which is probably why this particular Shadow has been scarce. He makes a point of staying clear of anyone nearby, giving the cottages as wide a berth as possible. The jars in his arms are suspicious enough, filled to the brim with what looks like memory flowers. He's got no intention of sticking around to chat, regardless, so if you're wanting information, you might wanna follow him.

Not like he can hear you, right?

Shadow Argus eventually makes his way back to the second Tower, entering with relative ease. Are you really brave enough to try getting inside? ]

[Tama glares at the Shadow's back briefly from behind a tree as he heads into the tower. He takes in a breath. He can't hear him, but he may be able to sense him if he gets too close and who knows what'll happen if he gets caught inside there alone.

...

Whatever. It's now or never. He'll figure the rest out when he gets in.

With his mace in hand, he darts from behind the tree through the snow. He closes the gap between the two by teleporting, then attempts to slip into the tower behind him, undetected.]

[The shadow's already gone in and Tama just makes it in before the door shuts on him]

[For the moment, he seems to be alone]

[Tama walks ahead, focused entirely on what's in front of him.

He doesn't look back long enough to notice if anybody else was there.]

[As he descends the stairs, he finds himself in a very familiar room - the Queen's study (aka: where the hostages were) looks really similar to how it was last time-- save the hostages, of course.]

[It doesn't seem like any of the shadows are around... for the moment]

[The study. He recognizes this room. Where they confronted the shadows before.

He immediately starts rummaging around. He doesn't really know what he's looking for, but he starts checking journals, notebooks, anything that looks like it may have useful info.]

[He gets his hands on one of the journals---- right as the floor opens up before him and he goes plummeting down]

[Don't scream too loudly, Tama, or you'll get caught sneaking]

[As they descend the stairs, they find themselves in a very familiar room - the Queen's study (aka: where the hostages were, that should be especially familiar to Kaito). It looks really similar to how it was last time-- save the hostages, of course.]

[It doesn't seem like any of the shadows OR Tama are around... for the moment. There's also a conspicuous empty spot on one of the shelves where a book would be]

[ah yes this place. he follows the other two a few feet behind, keeping an eye out for any signs of dangers or being watched.]

COWBOY, COIN

[As you enter and descend the stairs, a loud SCREEEECH tears through the air, followed by the closing of a door.]

[Then: you find yourself in the Queen's study, which may or may not be familiar. The hostages had been here, last time.]

[Most notably, a bookshelf has been moved to reveal a door, and a couple of the books are out of place]

[WELL THAT SCREECH SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE ELSE MIGHT BE AROUND. So the hairs on the back of his neck go up immediately. And then when they get to the room, he's going to look around, frowning. It doesn't look all too familiar, but has a feeling about it for sure.

So here he is. Choosing to go to the door to examine there.]

[Hearing the screech has his hackles raising a bit and he looks around for a moment to find out exactly where the sound had come from before looking towards Coin. Seeing if he knew where it had come from.

However, there was a door and he goes over helping him to examine it, seeing if it was firmly shut and locked or if it would open.]

[If you had to place it, it sounded more like furniture moving than a person screaming.]

[And... the door is locked! There is another, much less hidden door, however]

[Now, this room is definitely different than the others. It almost seems to be a workshop, but in disarray. Various mirror shards are littered across a table, as well as a--- helmet? Is it in fact a helmet, and it looks exactly like what a certain mysterious jerk wears.]

[Speaking of mysterious jerk, Dark Helmet themselves is standing close to her, as she clutches what appears to be.... black shard? in her hand. In lieu of his helmet, he's wearing a gold one with a white rose emblazoned on it - a definite upgrade]

[She's also attempted to build a mirror, with a few shards already in it. She puts one of the black shards inside it---- Dark Helmet's body seizes up--- and then the mirrors explodes, sending all the shards cascading. Dark Helmet's posture returns to normal and Nyssa's expression clouds over]

Another failure.

[Slow to regain senses. Posture slackens slightly. Slowly stands up straight again.

Reaches hand out. Places on her arm.]

[She allows it, but she's tense. Her free hand is balled into a fist, even if she's holding the black shards gently.]

[She'll bend down to retrieve the one she tried to force into the makeshift mirror]

I need a mirror... This will not work this way.

[She looks oddly... human.]

[There are two possible exits from this room. One: the passageway Kaito and co came from, and two, a door-- that leads to an unknown area.]

[Kaito's voice rises above commotion. he sounds winded and slightly pained. THANKS ROOK]

Head through the secret passageway! There's a hall of mirrors beyond it, but it leads right to the exit!

[strangely enough, he doesn't head for said passageway himself just yet. he's gonna make sure everyone makes it through first]
