[A long hallway, lined with mirrors. Plush red carpet lines it, but underneath... the smell of rot?]

[wrinkles his nose at the smell of rot. he takes a step forward, gaze immediately flickering towards the nearest mirror. he's watching his reflection]

checking to see if he can flip a corner of the carpet up and see what's under it?]

[that is not a good smell, bluh]

[taking a few steps ahead himself, regardless. who even needs this many mirrors]

[Just beautiful hardwood floors.]

[...That seem to have rotted?]

[his gaze flickers from the mirror to the floor. eugh. rotten floors mean they'll have to tread carefully, or else they might accidentally put too much weight on the wood and wind up falling through it]

[he lifts a hand to his lips to indicate "quiet," before he tiptoes forward, trying to put as little weight on his feet as he can as he moves down the hallway. DO AS THE THIEF DOES, GUYS]

[he doesn't take his eyes off of the mirrors, either]

[carefully moving along, trying to stick as close to the edge of the hallway as he can without touching the mirrors]

[glances back to get a glimpse of the rotting wood. welp. someone hasn't been around long enough to be wary of mirrors so he's looking straight ahead as he carefully progresses]

[Their reflections watch them as they go....]

[Yes, you read that right.]

[Armin's reflection reaches in his direction, from inside the mirror.]

[that is exactly why Kaito watched the reflections as he passed :')!!]

[GESTURES AT ARMIN TO MOVE, AND FAST]

[taking a step back himself and readying his gun, now suddenly wary of their reflections]

[The reflection keeps reaching for Armin from the OTHER SIIIIIIDE, smiling at him.]

[The other two reflections are doing the same. For the moment, it seems like the glass is trapping them]

[he picks up the pace to a near sprint, glancing back over his shoulder to make sure the others are following. the sooner they get out of this hallway, the better]
