[ Activity around the second clocktower isn't that rare, but right now, you've caught a glimpse of... something? Someone? Heading in that direction ]

[As you enter and descend the stairs, a loud SCREEEECH tears through the air, followed by the closing of a door.]

[Then: you find yourself in the Queen's study, which may or may not be familiar. The hostages had been here, last time.]

[Most notably, a bookshelf has been moved to reveal a door, and a couple of the books are out of place]

[WELL THAT SCREECH SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE ELSE MIGHT BE AROUND. So the hairs on the back of his neck go up immediately. And then when they get to the room, he's going to look around, frowning. It doesn't look all too familiar, but has a feeling about it for sure.

So here he is. Choosing to go to the door to examine there.]

[Hearing the screech has his hackles raising a bit and he looks around for a moment to find out exactly where the sound had come from before looking towards Coin. Seeing if he knew where it had come from.

However, there was a door and he goes over helping him to examine it, seeing if it was firmly shut and locked or if it would open.]

[If you had to place it, it sounded more like furniture moving than a person screaming.]

[And... the door is locked! There is another, much less hidden door, however]

[Well that shall be the door he wants to try, then. Once he realizes there's another door.

Because he was looking for things that seemed weird more than oh look something expected in a place in general]

[Okay, so locked door. That wasn't something that he was expecting. Then again, there was a lot that they weren't expecting. Or he wasn't anyway. So he's going to see what he can find in the room since that door is locked.

Maybe they'll find the less hidden door. See what's behind door number two, as it were.]

[There are lots and lots of books. A look through them seems like they're on wildlife, gardening, roses, etc. Not much of use.]

[The other door opens, if they want to go through it.]

[WELL AN OPEN DOOR IS FAIRLY EASY TO SPOT. Also considering he know this place is dangerous VERY. OMINOUS. So he'll look at Cowboy with a look that says that being careful is less optional and more if they're not they might die.

He doesn't have any weapons on him, but he does have one fist balled at his side as he decides to carefully poke his head through the doorway to see if there's anything dangerous immediately looming. And then cautiously stepping through]

[Far too easy to spot. So he gives a nod to Coin because being careful is a way of life. Especially when he doesn't want to die. Dying was NOT an option. Not in the least bit.

He doesn't have any weapons on himself either and when the other boy steps inside, he steps inside too making sure to keep close to the other. Though he makes sure he's partially in front of him too. Just to keep Coin safe.]

[It looks like another set of stairs leading further down. Nothing more]

[Down the stairs they go, then? Careful footing and testing each step as to hopefully not get caught. Probably better since of the two of them. He's the bigger.

NO OFFENSE COWBOY BUT YOU'RE A TINY COMPARED TO THIS TEXAN KTHX]

[Down the stairs they go. He runs his hand down along the wall to make sure there's nothing there. Nothing that's going to, hopefully attack them. And just because he's 147 pounds of sarcasm doesn't mean that he's tiny, kthnx.]

[Once they head down the stairs, there's another door waiting for them. Enter, or go back the way you came?]

[There's a shiver sent straight down his spine before looking to Cowboy. He's opting for pushing forward right now, definitely.

And he'll take a step toward it to show that, and that he'd understand if Cowboy wanted to get out of dodge. Because Nyssa.]

[Sorry but he doesn't just run out of dodge. No, he's going to push forward and he's going to follow Coin. He's not going to leave him on his lonesome.

He doesn't know that much about Nyssa save for the rumors he's heard, but that's not going to stop him from following.]

[As they enter the next room, the door closes behind them. Inside, there are jars of various substances -- the one they can recognize is memory powder.]

[Some of the others look... sinister]

[Well he'll be looking at the jars curiously and suspiciously. Especially those sinister ones. He'll go to one of the jars to examine a bit more closely]

[Didn't we mention that curiosity was bad when it came to Cowboy? Coin isn't the only one to go over to one of the jars to examine more closely. After all, he's pretty sure that some of these he's never seen before.]

[Probably best not to touches them. Various liquids of all colours and consistently fill the room and some even seem to be bubbling.]

[Then, you both hear.... an explosion? From another room]

[And he gets distracted from almost grabbing a jar to examine more closely and looks up at the explosion]

What the...

[Definitely a low murmur before he frowns]

[The explosion has him moving away from the jars and looking towards Coin.]

I don't know... but we should check it out.

[Make sure no one's been hurt.]

[Well, if they look at the floor, there is a trap door. The explosion sounds like it came from below them.]

[He'll spot it definitely and look over to Cowboy]

Goin' down, then?

[I MEAN THEY'VE COME THIS FAR.]

[Well... they've definitely come this far so...

GOING DOWN IT IS!]

[Well, they get the door open. And they're privy to this scene--- and then, with the floor weakened a little by the explosion, they crash down into the room]
